Abdul Aleem Khan serving as Federal Communications Minister has announced the construction of a motorway from Islamabad to Gilgit and Skardu.
The minister revealed the news about the governments plan regarding the construction of motorway during the passing-out parade of patrol officers at the National Highways and Motorway Training College in Sheikhupura. The completion of the motorway will be a game changer for the region, he added.
The minister also paid the tribute to the workers who worked for motorway, as no one ever complained that an officer of the Motorway Police asked for bribe and I hope that this tradition will be transfer to other departments also, he exclaimed.
The minister also said, “I congratulates all people who participated in the passing-out and and announced a reward of one-month salary for the 289 officers of the department.189 Motorway Police officers, who have completed training, includes 100 FIA officials and 26 women have also graduated.
