Amidst the intense heatwave, the Education Minister Of Punjab has announced the schedule for vacations in school and colleges.
As per reports like every year the educational institutes will close for two months during summer vacation holidays.
It is stated that summer holidays will commence from June 7 till August 19, 2024. The notification from the Education Department has not been issued yet.
Earlier, the NDMA has Cautioned that the temperature is likely rise to 49.5 degrees Celsius in June. Moreover in August could see temperatures peaking at 48.63 degrees Celsius.
