
Pakistan Cricket Board has officially announced 15-man squad for T20 world cup 2024, all set to be held in USA and the Caribbean, next month.
The squad is captained by Babar Azam, another emerging talent, Abbas Afridi, makes his debut in World Cup squad, who has already impressed the selectors with his PSL and International performances, will join Mohammad Amir, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah.
The Team also has versatile hitters includes, Imad Waseem, Shadab Khan, Iftikhar Ahmed and Azam Khan. Meanwhile, Mohammad Rizwan, Saim Ayub and Mohammad Rizwan will showcase their talent and anchor the team.
The squad was finalize in the selection committee meeting includes, Abdul Razzaq, Asad Shafiq, Babar Azam, Mohammad Yusuf, Wahab Riaz, Bilal Afzal and Grey Kirsten.
PCB stated that, “This is an extremely talented and balanced side, that has a mixture of both youth and experience. These players are playing together for sometime and look well-prepared for the event.
The green shirts have reached London, where they will play four T20Is from May 22 to 30 May.
The last date for the announcement of squad for all the teams is May 25, which was set by ICC.
