Supreme Court on Tuesdy has ordered to shutdown monal and all the returants situated on Margalla Hills.
Dissmissing the CDA report, regarding Monal resturant, SC has also summoned the Chairman of Capital Development Authority to appear in court immidiately.
During the proceeding, Cheif Justice, Justice Qazi Faiz Isa stated that the court had sought a report on several other resturants as well. Additionally, Sports Cub Pak-China centre and Arts Council National Monument were also mentioned in the report, this shows the ‘Honesty’ of CDA officials, he said.
Justice Isa raised a question, whether the Supreme Court and Capital Development Authority also fell within Margalla National Park? If that is the case, then it would be better for the Authority to demolish its buildings.
