The Sindh Government has assigned the reponsibility to the Dow University of Health Sciences to conduct MDCAT exams, after the Liaqat University of Medical and Health sciences revealed not to conduct MDCAT this year.
This is third time back to back that DUHS will arrange the admission test for both private and government medical and dental institutions across Sindh.
Sindh Health Secretary Rehan Baloch has officially issued the notification about the decision.
Vice Chancellor of Liaqat University Of Health and Medical Sciences DR. Ikramuddin Ujjan stated that ” his son would be participateing in the exam, so he could not oversee MDCAT this year to ensure the fairness and tansparency and suggested that another Institute should handle the test.
It should be noted that previous year MDCAT was also coducted by DUHS after the first test arranged by Jinnah Medical University was cancelled due to paper leak allegations.
