
While addressing to the Punjab Assembly, CM Punjab Naryam Nawaz Sharif has annouced the distribution date of e-bikes will begin from July 10.
CM Maryam Nawaz underlined the achivement of her Government’s first 100 days while presenting the tax-free budget. She stated that no new taxes were imposed on the people of Punjab.
Cheif Minister also unveiled the laptop scheme, with a budget of 10 billion rupees and also shared the plan to enroll out of school children assuring education for all.
Furthermore, Maryam Nawaz said that, free treatment and medicines are being provided at Government hospitals and also mentioned the initiative to support farmers providing interest-free loan and subsidies for agricultural equipments.
It should be noted that, on 12 April CM Maryam Nawaz had launched the program to provide 20,000 free electric bikes to the students, aimed to acquire motorcycles and e-bikes on easy monthly installments.
For male students monthly installment set at Rs. 11,676 and Rs. 7,325 per month for female students. In rural areas the 70% of quota is reserved for male and 30% is for female while in urban areas the quota is equally divided between both male and female.
