Pakistan International Airlines launches a special flight operation for Najaf, Iraq aimed to ease the travel for the pilgrims as the blessed month of Muharram has started.
The ‘Operation Ashura’ flight operation for the return of the pilgrims will commence on the 20th of this month from Najaf.
In Pakistan, the first Muharram will fall on Moday, July 8 as the Muharram moon has not been sighted till July 7. Consequently, Ashura — the 10th of Muharram — will be observed on Wednesday, July 17.
